The Town of Scarborough is a quant and quiet town along the Maine Coast. The Scarborough River that brings you into the Harbor Area has very limited access due to the depth of the water. At low tide the draft in the river is limited to sometimes less than 1 foot of water in most of the channel. At the Coop Area in Pine Point there is Dock Space that is very limited, but allowed for tie up to give access to a restaurant and Public Restrooms on the water for visitors,( Rising Tide Restaurant open summer time only ) The Area also has 3 Guest Mooring assigned by the harbormaster. The Town of Scarborough also has 3 Boat Launches 1) Only usable at High Tide Only. There is fees to use the Launches 5$ a day for Residents and $10 a day for Non-Residents or Seasonal Passes for $25 for Residents and $50 for non-Residents Any Question Contact The Scarborough Harbormaster at 207-671-2821 Dave CorbeauThe Town of Scarborough also has more than 150 acres of Shellfish Flats that are open year round. The Town sells Licenses on a yearly basis, Day Licenses are also sold for $10 a day through the Town Hall. The licenses are limited to 10 per day and must be picked up in person and can be picked up 5 days in advance of the day of use.
